When David Madora moved to Western N.C. in 2018, he had already been retired from the furniture industry for 15 years. While furnishing his new home, he found a void in the market for high quality, mid-priced, and well-designed furniture. The lack of options compelled him to come out of a boring retirement to fill a gap in the market and introduce superior products with an affordable price point.
David knew how to bring exciting products and value to the home decor market. With 37 years of accumulated knowledge, David is uniquely qualified to seek out well-constructed products at good value. Having worked with domestic and international manufacturers to improve quality and fashion.
He started researching companies with well-made goods that carried affordable pricing. He came across Enza, a Turkish manufacturer/retailer with 600 locations in Europe and the Middle East. His inviting showroom at 25 Long Shoals Road in Arden is the company's first U.S. retail location, Enza Home Furnishings & Bedding.

In addition, for special ordering, the store highlights “Wondersign” – a large touch screen shopping experience that expands Enza Home’s product line showing real-time inventory. Recently David has added an extensive North American upholstery line that can ship custom leather and fabric upholstered goods within an eight-week time frame - Palliser has been producing motion and stationery furniture for 75 years and it’s now in Asheville!
Most of Enza Home’s upholstery and mattresses ship from warehouses just a few hours from Asheville in High Point, NC and surrounding towns. Enza Home has their own truck and chooses to pick up special orders to shorten delivery times to you. They are up-front and transparent about suppliers’ production times.
